After a rather tough play, Valencia C.F.'s Lance Fairfax got a free kick in the 3rd minute. Jerry Lodge took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Froilan Reyes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd rose to their feet as Parque Europa FC's Froilan Reyes slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Jerry Lodge. That made the score 1-0 after 11 minutes of play. Parque Europa FC's Atauri Flores suffered a sore thigh after 20 minutes and couldn't finish the game. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Lance Fairfax during the 20th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 22nd minute, Lance Fairfax hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 23 played minutes Froilan Reyes rounded Valencia C.F.'s defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 3-0. Len Forrest kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice moves Emanuel Löfkvist could shoot a difficult shot in the 27th minute, which Jerry Lodge however easily saved by the left post. In the 45th minute, Froilan Reyes ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jerry Lodge was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Froilan Reyes stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Jerry Lodge stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Froilan Reyes's shot from short distance in the 56th minute. Rogelio Mendiola received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Jerry Lodge tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some careless play in the Valencia C.F. defense, Froilan Reyes kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jerry Lodge. The Valencia C.F. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jerry Lodge should have stopped the shot. Jerry Lodge made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Froilan Reyes in the 64th minute of play. If Rogelio Mendiola had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Parque Europa FC's Miliano Babia was substituted for Froilan Reyes. Parque Europa FC's Coronel Castro was substituted for Saul Gomesano. 76 minutes into the match, Valencia C.F.'s Joe Herring sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Luis Täger narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Jerry Lodge showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rogelio Mendiola, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. In the 81st minute Rogelio Mendiola shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jerry Lodge saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Parque Europa FC's Luis Täger played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joe Herring in the 85th minute of play. Coronel Castro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Jerry Lodge tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Valencia C.F.'s Man Tas was substituted for Joe Herring. 90 minutes into the game, Coronel Castro cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 7-0. Jerry Lodge was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 96th minute, Miliano Babia left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Parque Europa FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 8-0.
