An unexpectedly hard shot by Saverio Niva in the 20th minute of play forced GeRaÇãO-83's goalkeeper Guto Jacinto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Wágner Recife was the one to do the kick off. Santana Armada showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ren Jie Fan, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. GeRaÇãO-83's Guto Jacinto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Saverio Niva in the 55th minute of play. Santana Armada made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ren Jie Fan in the 59th minute of play. GeRaÇãO-83's José Augusto Vasconcelos managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Greger Sandström in the 64 minute of the game. GeRaÇãO-83's attentive José Augusto Vasconcelos managed to snatch the ball when Greger Sandström made a throw-in in the 70th minute of the game. 71 minutes into the match, GeRaÇãO-83's Robinho Freire sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Santana Armada narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 73 minutes into the match, Vancouver Reds's goal looked a bit too open when Robinho Freire came free, but Santana Armada reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Florentino Barrette kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. Santana Armada took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Robinho Freire, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Robinho Freire in the 81st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Santana Armada prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Santana Armada showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Robinho Freire in the 87th minute of the match. Santana Armada made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Robinho Freire in the 88th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Robinho Freire in the 90th minute of play forced Vancouver Reds's goalkeeper Santana Armada to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Robinho Freire's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Santana Armada read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 96th minute of play. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
