In the 20th minute the ball was on its way in behind Vancouver Reds's goalkeeper Santana Armada, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 28th minute Vancouver Reds were awarded a corner. Greger Sandström went to the cornerflag to take it. The audience thought a goal was coming when Wágner Recife got free with Elias Urdaspal in the 33rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 35th minute of the game Roger Kohn made a throw-in which Saverio Niva played forward. Elias Urdaspal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Saverio Niva, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Vancouver Reds's Greger Sandström was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Elias Urdaspal in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. A sloppy throw-in by Roger Kohn in the 41st minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by ♫ Highway To Hell ❼❾ ♫'s Slawomir Gacki. 42 minutes into the match, Tudur Fitriansyah notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Vancouver Reds's Santana Armada. Santana Armada was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The supporters of ♫ Highway To Hell ❼❾ ♫ booed when Vancouver Reds was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wágner Recife didn't get a good kick on the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alonzo Peruxu couldn't finish the play. Santana Armada showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alonzo Peruxu, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. Alonzo Peruxu might have been able to make a better finish in the 90th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Santana Armada. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Alonzo Peruxu ran back to his position shaking his head. After having played for 92 minutes, Slawomir Gacki managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. ♫ Highway To Hell ❼❾ ♫'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Slawomir Gacki was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 94th minute Benicio Valentine shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elias Urdaspal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Benicio Valentine in the 94th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Elias Urdaspal prevented the ball from getting in the gole. ♫ Highway To Hell ❼❾ ♫'s Elias Urdaspal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rodrigo Ferdinand in the 96th minute of play. The ♫ Highway To Hell ❼❾ ♫ players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
