The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 3 minutes of play, Suipacha FC's Lucas Langoni made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Rui Varanda was left in no man's land by his defense there! Rui Varanda stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Lucas Langoni's shot from short distance in the 6th minute. In the 7th minute, Altino Vieira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Albérico Ferrão during the 9th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Lucas Langoni recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 10th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Severino Pacho made an important save on a dangerous shot by Yuri Delgado in the 12th minute. Lucas Langoni struck a weak shot in the 13th minute. Rui Varanda didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Suipacha FC. In the 15th minute Hernan Primo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rui Varanda saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lucas Langoni scored 0-2 in the 16th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Rui Varanda, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Rui Varanda showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lucas Langoni, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. The supporters of Suipacha FC booed when SANFINS VLP was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Yuri Delgado didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rui Varanda took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lucas Langoni, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, SANFINS VLP's Yuri Delgado got a free kick in the 22nd minute. SANFINS VLP's Rui Varanda played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hernan Primo in the 26th minute of play. Rui Varanda showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lucas Langoni in the 29th minute of the match. When Suipacha FC's Lucas Langoni in the 30th minute got a chance for a shot 30th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye SANFINS VLP's goalie prevented a goal. After a rather tough play, SANFINS VLP's Albérico Ferrão got a free kick in the 32nd minute. Paulo Dibala took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 34th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Rui Varanda. SANFINS VLP's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Yuri Delgado got his second yellow card in the match during the 34th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. A collision led to SANFINS VLP getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Yuri Delgado hit a great ball. Alfredo Bemabe took the ball and in the 39 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rui Varanda. Rui Varanda dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. In the 42nd minute Ildefonso Senin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rui Varanda saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Lucas Langoni in the 44th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rui Varanda saved SANFINS VLP from getting behind. SANFINS VLP's Rui Varanda played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lucas Langoni in the 45th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Lucas Langoni in the 47th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rui Varanda saved SANFINS VLP from getting behind. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the match had gone on for 51 minutes, Lucas Langoni took a quick shot and it went in 0-5 without a chance for Rui Varanda to make any attempt to save it. Rui Varanda made a fantastic save in the 53rd minute, when Lucas Langoni sent off a good shot on target. A hard shot 56 in the game by Lucas Langoni from a close distance when the talented Rui Varanda managed to make a qualified save. SANFINS VLP's players were relieved. With his leg Rui Varanda managed to avoid a goal in the 57thth minute, when Suipacha FC's Lucas Langoni fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. A collision led to SANFINS VLP getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Altino Vieira hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 64th minute, Paulo Dibala managed to get in a good position for a shot. Suipacha FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Paulo Dibala was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rui Varanda breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a couple of smart ball manuevers James Saralegui in the 66th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rui Varanda saved SANFINS VLP from getting behind. Lucas Langoni in the 69thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Rui Varanda, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Rui Varanda was out of position in the 71 minute of play, and Lucas Langoni capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Lucas Langoni really showed his touch with that goal: 0-7. Suipacha FC made a substitution. Pascual Rocendo replaced Ildefonso Senin. 81 minutes into the match, Angelino Hegoi had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Rui Varanda. SANFINS VLP's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Angelino Hegoi was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-9. Fulgencio Paio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rui Varanda having to interfere. Rui Varanda took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from James Saralegui, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 87th match minute, Suipacha FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Roberto Caitano to maneuver through the defense. 93 minutes into the game, Angelino Hegoi recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Rui Varanda. Angelino Hegoi showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-10. Suipacha FC played a much better game than SANFINS VLP and deserved their victory. The SANFINS VLP players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
