In the 23rd minute, Bartolo Acuña hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Segundo Ubelteso got free with Guter Peñafiel in the 39th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A collision led to PEÑAROL PIPERO getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Urko Tabares hit a great ball. Luciano Bertran struck a weak shot in the 44th minute. Guter Peñafiel didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Piernas Locas Crane FC. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Segundo Ubelteso stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When Jonathan Jobo came up free with the goalie in the 74th minute, the Piernas Locas Crane FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jonathan Jobo couldn't finish the play. Piernas Locas Crane FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Luciano Bertran was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the referee ended the match the Piernas Locas Crane FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
