The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The audience thought a goal was coming when Zheng Yang Zhen got free with Ricardo van Beek in the 4th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Speurdonk's defense didn't have a chance, in the 17th minute, when Zheng Yang Zhen scored to the left of an out of position Ricardo van Beek, making the score, 2-0. Speurdonk's Ricardo van Beek proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 19th minute of the match, managed to save Speurdonk from getting a goal against them. Ricardo van Beek stood somewhat misplaced when Zheng Yang Zhen came free in front of goal and shot 3-0 to the left of him in the 22 minute. In the 26th minute of the match ΠΑΟΚ FC got a corner. Speurdonk's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Petros Mirtsos ran over to the corner to take the kick. With a little luck, Speurdonk's Ricardo van Beek got control of the ball when Petros Mirtsos tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a rather tough play, Speurdonk's Erik Beaufort got a free kick in the 29th minute. 30 minutes into the game, Zheng Yang Zhen cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Ricardo van Beek was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Ricardo van Beek took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zheng Yang Zhen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Speurdonk's Ricardo van Beek proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 34th minute of the match, managed to save Speurdonk from getting a goal against them. Zheng Yang Zhen could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 35th minute of the match, but Ricardo van Beek made a huge save. 37 minutes into the match, Speurdonk's goal looked a bit too open when Petros Mirtsos came free, but Ricardo van Beek reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Zheng Yang Zhen's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ricardo van Beek read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 38th minute of play. In the 39th minute ΠΑΟΚ FC were awarded a corner. Petros Mirtsos went to the cornerflag to take it.

With a couple of smart ball manuevers Zheng Yang Zhen in the 51st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ricardo van Beek saved Speurdonk from getting behind. Erik Beaufort charged in rather forcefully in the 53rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Erik Beaufort the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Erik Beaufort kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. Ricardo van Beek made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sotiris Zacharakis in the 55th minute of play. When ΠΑΟΚ FC's Zheng Yang Zhen in the 57th minute got a chance for a shot 57th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. But to his dismay, Sotiris Zacharakis quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. In the 70th minute, Zheng Yang Zhen left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The ΠΑΟΚ FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-0. After 73 played minutes Speurdonk got a freekick which was hit by Gerrit Gyselinckx. ΠΑΟΚ FC's Zheng Yang Zhen got a good chance for a goal in the 77th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Speurdonk's Ricardo van Beek played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zheng Yang Zhen in the 79th minute of play. When the match clock showed 79 minutes, the score became 7-0 when Zheng Yang Zhen sped through Speurdonk's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Ricardo van Beek. In the 82nd match minute, Speurdonk was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kris Waeberghe to maneuver through the defense. Ricardo van Beek showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zheng Yang Zhen in the 83rd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zheng Yang Zhen in the 89th minute of play forced Speurdonk's goalkeeper Ricardo van Beek to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. ΠΑΟΚ FC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
