Egídio Salgado came out of the goal in the 7th minute to try and stop a shot by Pecém's Xie Shu Tian. But to his dismay, Xie Shu Tian quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 10th minute the ball was on its way in behind ⚽ VILA REAL F.ᑕ. MOC ⚽'s goalkeeper Egídio Salgado, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 12th minute of the match Pecém got a corner. ⚽ VILA REAL F.ᑕ. MOC ⚽'s goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Diderik Schenning ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Diderik Schenning got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Egídio Salgado quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 22 minutes into the match, Pecém's Xie Shu Tian sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Egídio Salgado narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 26th minute Xie Shu Tian shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Egídio Salgado saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Egídio Salgado took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Xie Shu Tian, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 36th minute the ball was on its way in behind ⚽ VILA REAL F.ᑕ. MOC ⚽'s goalkeeper Egídio Salgado, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 38 minutes ⚽ VILA REAL F.ᑕ. MOC ⚽'s defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Diderik Schenning who took care of the corner kick. MOC ⚽'s defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Diderik Schenning was slow to take the kick. During this time Pecém's players had a chance to rest. Xie Shu Tian fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Egídio Salgado having to interfere. Xie Shu Tian struck a weak shot in the 97th minute. Egídio Salgado didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pecém. The Pecém players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
