The Despidida AFC fans' excitement grew in the 19th match minute when Despidida AFC's Toro Martínez looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. If Toro Martínez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Toro Martínez in the 22nd minute of play forced Türk Polis Gücü's goalkeeper Edmund Dulemba to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 24th minute, Günther Doty made a precise shot to the right of Fernando Selatse. Despidida AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Fernando Selatse took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Günther Doty, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Türk Polis Gücü's Emrullah Zülfikar managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Ancho Branca in the 33 minute of the game. 38 minutes into the match, Türk Polis Gücü's goal looked a bit too open when Toro Martínez came free, but Edmund Dulemba reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Toro Martínez in the 42nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Edmund Dulemba prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

After a rather tough play, Despidida AFC's Dominik Fink got a free kick in the 51st minute. Despidida AFC's Czeslaw Kopacz was substituted for Ancho Branca. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emiliano Velasco in the 60th minute of play forced Türk Polis Gücü's goalkeeper Edmund Dulemba to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Despidida AFC getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Kees Harmsen hit a great ball. In the 66th minute, Czeslaw Kopacz left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Despidida AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. Fernando Selatse came out of the goal in the 75th minute to try and stop a shot by Türk Polis Gücü's Zaid Cevahir. But to his dismay, Zaid Cevahir quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Czeslaw Kopacz in the 78th minute of play forced Türk Polis Gücü's goalkeeper Edmund Dulemba to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
