Joaquin Francesco showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Torsten Blomberg in the 2nd minute of the match. Rolando Olayo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 4th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Fredrik Lund had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd rose to their feet as IFK Kik's Patrik Myr slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Joaquin Francesco. That made the score 1-0 after 12 minutes of play. Maximino Montes's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Håkan Botvidsson read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 15th minute of play. Joaquin Francesco made a fantastic save in the 23rd minute, when Patrik Myr sent off a good shot on target. In the 23rd minute, Zeledon Txeru hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 28 minutes into the match, IFK Kik's Fredrik Lund sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Joaquin Francesco narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 31 played minutes Tecka Viejo Nomás got a freekick which was hit by Maximiliano Acevedo. Joaquin Francesco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fredrik Lund in the 32nd minute of play. 32 minutes into the game, Fredrik Lund cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Joaquin Francesco was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Patrik Myr could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 36th minute of the match, but Joaquin Francesco made a huge save. Tecka Viejo Nomás's Joaquin Francesco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fredrik Lund in the 38th minute of play. IFK Kik's Patrik Myr got a good chance for a goal in the 43rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 45 minutes into the match, Tecka Viejo Nomás's goal looked a bit too open when Fredrik Lund came free, but Joaquin Francesco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Patrik Myr to strike the kick off in the second half. A collision led to IFK Kik getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Fritz Ugla hit a great ball. 59 minutes into the match, Tecka Viejo Nomás's goal looked a bit too open when Patrik Myr came free, but Joaquin Francesco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 63rdth minute of the game Rolando Olayo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but IFK Kik's Håkan Botvidsson was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Patrik Myr recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 66th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Patrik Myr in the 66th minute of play forced Tecka Viejo Nomás's goalkeeper Joaquin Francesco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 67 minutes, Algot Biörkquist mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the IFK Kik and the Tecka Viejo Nomás players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 67 played minutes IFK Kik got a freekick which was hit by Algot Biörkquist. Maximiliano Acevedo's late challenge caught a IFK Kik's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Maximiliano Acevedo helped the player get up and apologised. In the 74th minute, Maximiliano Acevedo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The crowd rose to their feet as Rolando Olayo kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Håkan Botvidsson. That made the score 2-1 in the 76 minute of play. If Desiderio Paul had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
