Luis Selatse made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Umberto Dionísio in the 3rd minute of play. 5 minutes into the match, Timo!'s goal looked a bit too open when Anísio Alagoano came free, but Luis Selatse reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luis Selatse took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anísio Alagoano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Anísio Alagoano in the 8th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Luis Selatse prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 11 minutes into the game, Castanheiro SC's Benedito Mineiro nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Luis Selatse made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. 15 minutes into the match, Timo!'s goal looked a bit too open when Anísio Alagoano came free, but Luis Selatse reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 15th minute Anísio Alagoano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luis Selatse saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 16th minute, Anísio Alagoano ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Luis Selatse was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. Pastor Marko blasted a shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Pedrinho Guimarães having to make a save. Luis Selatse showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Magno Pereira, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. 34 minutes into the match, Pastor Marko had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Pedrinho Guimarães. Castanheiro SC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Pastor Marko was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. 47 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when Castanheiro SC's Anísio Alagoano fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-1 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Pastor Marko was the one to do the kick off. In the 52ndth minute of the game Umberto Dionísio who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Timo!'s Luis Selatse was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 53rd minute, Luisinho Seco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Amancio Ceandro charged in rather forcefully in the 56th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Amancio Ceandro the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Castanheiro SC made a substitution. Mauro Sarmento replaced Anísio Alagoano. After 57 played minutes Timo! got a freekick which was hit by Amancio Ceandro. Luis Selatse didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Umberto Dionísio went, in the 59th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-1 was the resulting score. Luis Selatse showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nilson Veloso in the 62nd minute of the match. Luis Selatse didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Castanheiro SC's Clemente Cardozo shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 5-1 in the ordered_time% minute. Amancio Ceandro kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. In the 70th minute of the match Luisinho Seco shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Luis Selatse showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, Timo!'s Lucio Franco got a free kick in the 71st minute. Benedito Mineiro took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 72nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Luis Selatse. Timo!'s goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Pedrinho Guimarães showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pastor Marko in the 73rd minute of the match. The supporters of Timo! booed when Castanheiro SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luisinho Seco didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 77th minute, Luisinho Seco fired away an extremely well hit free kick, but unfortunately the ball went just outside to the right hand side of Luis Selatse. David Luzaide hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. Luis Selatse didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Umberto Dionísio went, in the 80th minute, to the upper right corner, 6-1 was the resulting score. Timo!'s Luis Selatse played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mauro Sarmento in the 83rd minute of play. Umberto Dionísio scored 7-1 in the 86th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Luis Selatse, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mauro Sarmento in the 92nd minute of play forced Timo!'s goalkeeper Luis Selatse to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Castanheiro SC fully deserved thier win.
