In the 12th minute, Maicon Zanette ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Stanimir Dragnev was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Rômulo Soares blasted a shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Stanimir Dragnev having to make a save. Eliseu Alagoano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Stanimir Dragnev having to interfere. Stanimir Dragnev didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Eliseu Alagoano went, in the 20th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Stanimir Dragnev showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eliseu Alagoano in the 24th minute of the match. Daniel Dragnevs short, quick shot in the 26thth minute got Édouard Mendy to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After 27 played minutes Al-Fajuth got a freekick which was hit by Amílton Marinho. Stanislav Angelov could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 28th minute of the match, but Édouard Mendy made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Stanislav Angelov in the 31st minute of play forced Al-Fajuth's goalkeeper Édouard Mendy to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Stanimir Dragnev came out of the goal in the 35th minute to try and stop a shot by Al-Fajuth's Eliseu Alagoano. But to his dismay, Eliseu Alagoano quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. After 37 minutes, Eliseu Alagoano made it 0-4 with a short kick to the right side. VN Keleler's Stanimir Dragnev tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 44th match minute, VN Keleler was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kalin Bonin to maneuver through the defense. Stanimir Dragnev stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Eliseu Alagoano's shot from short distance in the 47th minute.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Boris Nenkov stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Stanislav Angelov in the 53rd minute of play forced Al-Fajuth's goalkeeper Édouard Mendy to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Al-Fajuth getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Jefferson Maia hit a great ball. After 94 minutes of play, VN Keleler's Stanislav Angelov made it 1-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Édouard Mendy was left in no man's land by his defense there! Although VN Keleler had been in control for most of the match, Al-Fajuth still came away with the win.
