Marcelo Barovero showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jacek Ankiewicz in the 3rd minute of the match. Gilberto Nayely might have been able to make a better finish in the 7th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Marcelo Barovero. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gilberto Nayely ran back to his position shaking his head. Marcelo Barovero made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gilberto Nayely in the 7th minute of play. Marcelo Barovero showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gilberto Nayely, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. Cleto Confesor's late challenge caught a Punk Fiction's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cleto Confesor helped the player get up and apologised. Cleto Confesor hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. Lobos de Carelia's Marcelo Barovero played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gilberto Nayely in the 13th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gilberto Nayely in the 13th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Marcelo Barovero prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Punk Fiction's Amado Jordão proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 16th minute of the match, managed to save Punk Fiction from getting a goal against them. Gilberto Nayely's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Marcelo Barovero read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 24th minute of play. Gilberto Nayely recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 26th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Punk Fiction getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Elpidio Chap hit a great ball. In the 32ndth minute of the game Gilberto Nayely who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Lobos de Carelia's Marcelo Barovero was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Amado Jordão made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Prospero Inguma in the 33rd minute of play. 36 minutes into the match, Punk Fiction's goal looked a bit too open when Gabriel Efraim came free, but Amado Jordão reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Lobos de Carelia's zone, Gilberto Nayely stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marcelo Barovero came out of the goal and Gilberto Nayely tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a little luck, Punk Fiction's Amado Jordão got control of the ball when Zeca Fernandez tried to sneak it across the goal line. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Zeca Fernandez made the kick off in the second half. Celedonio Enetz kicked well hit freekick during the 50th minute of the match. Punk Fiction's Silvio Feliz quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Eusebio Rios, made in the 55th minute of the game. Lobos de Carelia's Marcelo Barovero played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gilberto Nayely in the 59th minute of play. When Elpidio Chap fell near the penalty area in the 60th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Punk Fiction's protests and gave Elpidio Chap a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Lobos de Carelia booed when Punk Fiction was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Elpidio Chap didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 67th minute Gabriel Efraim shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Amado Jordão saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gilberto Nayely received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Marcelo Barovero came out and tried to block the shot, but Gilberto Nayely slotted it home off the left post making it 0-2 in the 70th minute. Gilberto Nayely received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Marcelo Barovero tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 80th minute Gabriel Efraim shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Amado Jordão saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 87 minutes into the match, Punk Fiction's goal looked a bit too open when Zeca Fernandez came free, but Amado Jordão reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Punk Fiction's attentive Silvio Feliz managed to snatch the ball when Eusebio Rios made a throw-in in the 90th minute of the game. Marcelo Barovero showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gilberto Nayely, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. Marcelo Barovero was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Gilberto Nayely showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-3 in the 93 minute of play. The Punk Fiction supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Punk Fiction would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
