Cleto Confesor made in the 21st minute of the game a quick throw-in and Vladimiro Millano immediately put the ball in play. With a little luck, Lobos de Carelia's Marcelo Barovero got control of the ball when Adrián Espadas tried to sneak it across the goal line. Marcelo Barovero made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adrián Espadas in the 26th minute of play. Lobos de Carelia's Marcelo Barovero played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Iordanis Karatzaferis in the 29th minute of play. 34 minutes had been played when some careless play by Lobos de Carelia's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Zézinho Neiva was slow to take the kick. During this time Soroca F.C.'s players had a chance to rest. The corner led Soroca F.C.'s Zézinho Neiva to fire away a dangerous shot which Marcelo Barovero despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 37th minute Zeca Fernandez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Armando Armani saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 39 minutes into the match, Soroca F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Zeca Fernandez came free, but Armando Armani reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adrián Espadas in the 41st minute of play forced Lobos de Carelia's goalkeeper Marcelo Barovero to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Adrián Espadas made a kick off. After 53 played minutes Lobos de Carelia got a freekick which was hit by Serafino Venerando. Marcelo Barovero stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Adrián Espadas's shot from short distance in the 56th minute. A collision led to Lobos de Carelia getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Cleto Confesor hit a great ball. Soroca F.C.'s Godofredo Quilino was substituted for Christian Gagriel. After 60 played minutes Lobos de Carelia got a freekick which was hit by Cleto Confesor. After 61 played minutes, Soroca F.C.'s Zézinho Neiva shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Marcelo Barovero came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Soroca F.C. reached it. Lobos de Carelia's Marcelo Barovero played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Răzvan Necula in the 64th minute of play. Armando Armani showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zeca Fernandez in the 72nd minute of the match. The supporters of Soroca F.C. booed when Lobos de Carelia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Xu Ran Zhen didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 73rd minute Răzvan Necula shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcelo Barovero saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Răzvan Necula's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Marcelo Barovero read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 83rd minute of play. Răzvan Necula blasted a shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Marcelo Barovero having to make a save. Marcelo Barovero took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Răzvan Necula, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 95 minutes into the match, Răzvan Necula notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Lobos de Carelia's Marcelo Barovero. Marcelo Barovero was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Soroca F.C.'s fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
