With an extended leg and a bit of luck Marcelo Barovero prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Punk Fiction's Amado Jordão played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gabriel Efraim in the 14th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Lobos de Carelia's zone, Gilberto Nayely stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marcelo Barovero came out of the goal and Gilberto Nayely tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Amado Jordão took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zeca Fernandez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gilberto Nayely in the 20thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Marcelo Barovero, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Amado Jordão stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Prospero Inguma's shot from short distance in the 26th minute. Gilberto Nayely might have been able to make a better finish in the 29th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Marcelo Barovero. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gilberto Nayely ran back to his position shaking his head. Marcelo Barovero made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gilberto Nayely in the 29th minute. If Gilberto Nayely had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. With a little luck, Lobos de Carelia's Marcelo Barovero got control of the ball when Gilberto Nayely tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 34th minute the ball was on its way in behind Lobos de Carelia's goalkeeper Marcelo Barovero, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The corner led Punk Fiction's Evelio Federigo to fire away a dangerous shot which Marcelo Barovero despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Amado Jordão made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zeca Fernandez in the 44th minute of play. In the 45th minute, Prospero Inguma left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Lobos de Carelia fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gabriel Efraim to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 50th minute, Abelardo Tancredo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Amado Jordão was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 51st minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Adolfo Gombal. Prospero Inguma could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 54th minute of the match, but Amado Jordão made a huge save. Marcelo Barovero didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gilberto Nayely went, in the 56th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. Gilberto Nayely's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Marcelo Barovero read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 63rd minute of play. 67 minutes into the match, Punk Fiction's Gilberto Nayely sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Marcelo Barovero narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 69 minutes into the game, Zeca Fernandez lined in a short shot 2-2 behind a frustrated Amado Jordão. Punk Fiction's Silvio Feliz managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Ismael Tauro in the 72 minute of the game. Marcelo Barovero showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gilberto Nayely in the 74th minute of the match. After 80 played minutes Punk Fiction got a freekick which was hit by Astor Urtun. Punk Fiction's Amado Jordão played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gabriel Efraim in the 84th minute of play. Prospero Inguma scored 2-3 in the 85th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Amado Jordão, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Gilberto Nayely might have been able to make a better finish in the 88th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Marcelo Barovero. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gilberto Nayely ran back to his position shaking his head.
