Benedicto Ireno was left in no man's land by his defense there! 8 minutes into the match, Lagrima en Jarrita's Andreas Hellsing sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Benedicto Ireno narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 10th minute the ball was on its way in behind C.A.Ituzaingo Ψ's goalkeeper Benedicto Ireno, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After some careless play in the C.A.Ituzaingo Ψ defense, Andreas Hellsing kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Benedicto Ireno. The C.A.Ituzaingo Ψ fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Benedicto Ireno should have stopped the shot. 44 minutes into the game, Tadeo Rolado threw the ball into play from the sideline. Lagrima en Jarrita's Domingos Gaitan quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. After the first half Lagrima en Jarrita were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Yin Wei Yi made a kick off. In the 53rd match minute, C.A.Ituzaingo Ψ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tadeo Rolado to maneuver through the defense. If Andreas Hellsing had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Benedicto Ireno made an important save on a dangerous shot by Andreas Hellsing in the 55th minute. After 58 played minutes C.A.Ituzaingo Ψ got a freekick which was hit by Tadeo Rolado. Lagrima en Jarrita made a substitution. Lu Bin Cheng replaced Andreas Hellsing. Lagrima en Jarrita's Arquímedes Desira was substituted for Marcial Veremundo. Lu Bin Cheng could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 70th minute of the match, but Benedicto Ireno made a huge save. Lagrima en Jarrita's Lu Bin Cheng managed to work through C.A.Ituzaingo Ψ's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Lu Bin Cheng dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. 74 minutes into the game, Christian Cordareo threw the ball into play from the sideline. C.A.Ituzaingo Ψ's Igor Montes quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Loco Malo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Teodosio Montes in the 75th minute of play. Fernando Seber charged in rather forcefully in the 79th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Fernando Seber the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Lagrima en Jarrita booed when C.A.Ituzaingo Ψ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fernando Seber didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, C.A.Ituzaingo Ψ's Benedicto Ireno got control of the ball when Arquímedes Desira tried to sneak it across the goal line.
