Viola Invest's Flavius Izbașa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fabián Estoyanoff in the 2nd minute of play. David Şneapotă charged in rather forcefully in the 3rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed David Şneapotă the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. David Şneapotă hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. When Sustrai Temiño came up free with the goalie in the 5th minute, the Deportivo Peñarol FIFV fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sustrai Temiño couldn't finish the play. Txomin Rujido took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vasile Soare, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the Deportivo Peñarol FIFV defense, Vasile Soare kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Txomin Rujido. The Deportivo Peñarol FIFV fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Txomin Rujido should have stopped the shot. Txomin Rujido made a fantastic save in the 13th minute, when Vasile Soare sent off a good shot on target. The nice shot from Ciprian Curuțiu in the 18thth minute just in front of the goal should have ended in point on the board, but Txomin Rujido had a great feel for the game and superbly saved the ball from getting in by the left post. Flavius Izbașa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fabián Estoyanoff in the 21st minute of the match. The supporters of Deportivo Peñarol FIFV booed when Viola Invest was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Martin Bilașco didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 25 minutes, Fabián Estoyanoff mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Deportivo Peñarol FIFV and the Viola Invest players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Deportivo Peñarol FIFV getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Fabián Estoyanoff hit a great ball. 27 minutes into the match, Viola Invest's goal looked a bit too open when Juan Manuel Olivera came free, but Flavius Izbașa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Theodore Igarza fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Flavius Izbașa having to interfere. After 35 minutes of play, Deportivo Peñarol FIFV's Juan Manuel Olivera made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Flavius Izbașa was left in no man's land by his defense there! Natalio Cachurro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Flavius Izbașa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Juan Manuel Olivera was the one to do the kick off. When Marcu Vlas fell near the penalty area in the 55th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Viola Invest's protests and gave Marcu Vlas a yellow card for diving instead. Flavius Izbașa made a fantastic save in the 58th minute, when Theodore Igarza sent off a good shot on target. Txomin Rujido showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vasile Soare in the 59th minute of the match. Martin Bilașco kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. A hard shot 64 in the game by Natalio Cachurro from a close distance when the talented Flavius Izbașa managed to make a qualified save. Viola Invest's players were relieved. In the 64th minute, Aron Turceanu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fabián Estoyanoff blasted a shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Flavius Izbașa having to make a save. Flavius Izbașa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Juan Manuel Olivera, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. If Juan Manuel Olivera had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 76th minute, George Teodoreanu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fabián Estoyanoff in the 80th minute of play forced Viola Invest's goalkeeper Flavius Izbașa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Vasile Soare hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. When Natalio Cachurro came up free with the goalie in the 88th minute, the Deportivo Peñarol FIFV fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Natalio Cachurro couldn't finish the play. Deportivo Peñarol FIFV's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Viola Invest had won, even though Deportivo Peñarol FIFV had held more of the ball.
