Cecilio Tristan ran back to his position shaking his head. Hugo Orlando Gatti took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Genaro Suarez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 37th minute, Eduardo Salvi left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Riquelme Fútbol Club fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. 40 minutes into the match, Cecilio Tristan had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Atila Edu. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Cecilio Tristan stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Riquelme Fútbol Club's Atila Edu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cecilio Tristan in the 67th minute of play. The corner led to Abuba Akotonon FC's Emanuel Aurre getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. After some careless play in the Riquelme Fútbol Club defense, Cecilio Tristan kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Atila Edu. The Riquelme Fútbol Club fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Atila Edu should have stopped the shot. Genaro Elivareo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Atila Edu having to interfere. Hugo Orlando Gatti took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bernardino Orlanda, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Atila Edu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emiliano Enol in the 84th minute of the match. Emiliano Enol sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Atila Edu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emiliano Enol in the 89th minute of play. In the 90th minute the ball was on its way in behind Riquelme Fútbol Club's goalkeeper Atila Edu, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar.
