Stevie Gerrard charged in rather forcefully in the 46th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Stevie Gerrard the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 46 played minutes Red Bull Crystallis got a freekick which was hit by Stevie Gerrard. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

Lyubcho Karadachki made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rene Flor in the 52nd minute of play. Octavio Efraim showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Conner Carragher, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. In the 84th minute, Gustavo-Hernán Cabezudo reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Octavio Efraim. The goal made the score 0-3. In the 91stth minute of the game Federico Arnas who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Manchester United F.C.'s Lyubcho Karadachki was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball.

Manchester United F.C. played a much better game than Red Bull Crystallis and deserved their victory. The Red Bull Crystallis players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
