Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Afonso da Cunha in the 4th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sérgio Perez prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Diego Ribas scored 0-1 in the 8th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Rogério Ceni, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Belgrano LOS PIRATAS's Rogério Ceni played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sebastian Vettel in the 11th minute of play. The supporters of Belgrano LOS PIRATAS booed when Classe A Futebol Clube was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Daniel Ricciardo didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Afonso da Cunha had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After a defensive mix-up in Classe A Futebol Clube's zone, Guillermo Frank stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sérgio Perez came out of the goal and Guillermo Frank tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 21 minutes into the match, Classe A Futebol Clube's goal looked a bit too open when Afonso da Cunha came free, but Sérgio Perez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rogério Ceni stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Daniel Ricciardo's shot from short distance in the 23rd minute. Sebastian Vettel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rogério Ceni having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Afonso da Cunha got free with Sérgio Perez in the 33rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Sérgio Perez made an important save on a dangerous shot by Afonso da Cunha in the 37th minute. Cumhur Günay could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 41st minute of the match, but Sérgio Perez made a huge save. Sérgio Perez was a little too slow when Afonso da Cunha got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 46th minute. The score was now 1-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Afonso da Cunha was the one to do the kick off. In the 53rdth minute of the game Afonso da Cunha who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Classe A Futebol Clube's Sérgio Perez was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 54th minute, Daniel Ricciardo reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Rogério Ceni. The goal made the score 1-2. Afonso da Cunha might have been able to make a better finish in the 58th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Sérgio Perez. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Afonso da Cunha ran back to his position shaking his head. Sérgio Perez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Afonso da Cunha in the 58th minute of play. In the 62nd minute Sebastian Vettel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rogério Ceni saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rogério Ceni showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sebastian Vettel, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. Belgrano LOS PIRATAS made a substitution. Steve Harris replaced Luca Savini. In the 64th minute of the match Classe A Futebol Clube got a corner. Belgrano LOS PIRATAS's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Pierre Gasly ran over to the corner to take the kick. Afonso da Cunha recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Belgrano LOS PIRATAS's Navin Dale was substituted for Guillermo Frank. Belgrano LOS PIRATAS's Teodoro Hartz was substituted for Cumhur Günay. After 73 played minutes Belgrano LOS PIRATAS got a freekick which was hit by Eulalio Jago. The audience thought a goal was coming when Daniel Ricciardo got free with Rogério Ceni in the 75th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 76th match minute, Belgrano LOS PIRATAS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eulalio Jago to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, Belgrano LOS PIRATAS's Rogério Ceni got control of the ball when Daniel Ricciardo tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sebastian Vettel in the 79th minute of play forced Belgrano LOS PIRATAS's goalkeeper Rogério Ceni to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sérgio Perez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Afonso da Cunha in the 84th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Diego Ribas got free with Rogério Ceni in the 92nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Teodoro Hartz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 97 minutes into the match, Belgrano LOS PIRATAS's Teodoro Hartz sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Sérgio Perez narrowly saved just below the crossbar.

The Classe A Futebol Clube players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
