Seyfettin Onursoy didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Champions Iasi getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Zachariasz Charamut hit a great ball. Cosmin Iureș charged in rather forcefully in the 6th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Cosmin Iureș the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 5 minutes into the game, one of Champions Iasi:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. After 15 minutes AYAZAĞA FK's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Iustin Coporan who took care of the corner kick. The goalkeeper smacked the ball away after a great corner, but Jorge Cadete advanced and headed the ball into goal, 1-1 in the 16th minute. The Champions Iasi fans' excitement grew in the 21st match minute when Champions Iasi's Róbert Pál-Szabó looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. When AYAZAĞA FK's Seyfettin Onursoy in the 26th minute got a chance for a shot 26th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Aşık Tunçdağ made an important save on a dangerous shot by Iustin Coporan in the 41st minute. AYAZAĞA FK's Aşık Tunçdağ played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vasile Mumuleanu in the 44th minute of play. Aşık Tunçdağ showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Róbert Pál-Szabó in the 47th minute of the match. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

AYAZAĞA FK's Atabek Makbul was substituted for İrfan Sancar. AYAZAĞA FK's Leszek Kornasiewicz was substituted for Samy Froidefond. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Róbert Pál-Szabó was the one to do the kick off. After 59 minutes of play, Champions Iasi's Róbert Pál-Szabó made it 3-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Aşık Tunçdağ was left in no man's land by his defense there! AYAZAĞA FK's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Doğuhan Özluer in the 63rd minute. Doğuhan Özluer made a great header on AYAZAĞA FK's corner, it was just that Champions Iasi's Frank Lauria managed to reach the ball for a save. AYAZAĞA FK's Aşık Tunçdağ played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Iustin Coporan in the 65th minute of play. After having played for 67 minutes, Vasile Mumuleanu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Champions Iasi's supporters crossed their fingers, but Vasile Mumuleanu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the match clock showed 67 minutes, the score became 4-2 when Róbert Pál-Szabó sped through AYAZAĞA FK's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Aşık Tunçdağ. A collision led to AYAZAĞA FK getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Atabek Makbul hit a great ball. Seyfettin Onursoy's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 76thth minute, Frank Lauria skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Leszek Kornasiewicz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 77th minute of the match, but Frank Lauria made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Iustin Coporan in the 78th minute of play forced AYAZAĞA FK's goalkeeper Aşık Tunçdağ to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Seyfettin Onursoy hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. 80 minutes into the match, AYAZAĞA FK's goal looked a bit too open when Róbert Pál-Szabó came free, but Aşık Tunçdağ reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Leszek Kornasiewicz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Vasile Mumuleanu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Frank Lauria made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leszek Kornasiewicz in the 89th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Iustin Coporan during the 91st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 91st minute, Iustin Coporan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A hard shot by Doğuhan Özluer from long distance, 92 minutes into the match, got Frank Lauria's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Ioan Andone lost his temper 95 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. After 95 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Champions Iasi! Champions Iasi:s Frank Lauria showed great skill when he stopped Doğuhan Özluer:s penalty. Doğuhan Özluer did an outstanding performance 97 minutes into the match, when he by himself got past the opposing team's defense and with a quick scored 4-3 to the right of an irritated Frank Lauria in the goal. The supporters of Champions Iasi booed when AYAZAĞA FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 100 match minutes in a wonderful position. Çakır Acunman didn't get a good kick on the ball.

The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Champions Iasi had won after a very even match.
