La Cosa Nostra's Jairo Boniel quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Joel Delfino showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dariusz Czerniejewski in the 17th minute of the match. 22 minutes into the match, La Cosa Nostra's goal looked a bit too open when Ovidio Vincente came free, but Joel Delfino reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Teofilo Benvide hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. Joel Delfino made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Yannik Blocks in the 30th minute of play. Borys Patora made an important save on a dangerous shot by Hans Otterlei in the 31st minute. Sergio Martxel made in the 37th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Hans Otterlei. 39 minutes into the match, Heavy Metal Pirates's goal looked a bit too open when Hans Otterlei came free, but Borys Patora reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 42 minutes into the game, Yannik Blocks cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Joel Delfino was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.

Heavy Metal Pirates made a substitution. Juliusz Dyczkowski replaced Yannik Blocks. La Cosa Nostra's Joel Delfino played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Shen Yong Xing in the 53rd minute of play. 55 minutes into the match, Heavy Metal Pirates's goal looked a bit too open when Hans Otterlei came free, but Borys Patora reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 56th minute of the game Joel Suarez made a throw-in which Hans Otterlei played forward. Joel Suarez got a throw-in 57 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Hans Otterlei. If Tytus Lepper had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 102nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Heavy Metal Pirates's Borys Patora played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marciano Bizen in the 104th minute of play. Borys Patora took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bartolo Nesor, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 106th minute Bartolo Nesor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Borys Patora saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 108 minutes of play, Heavy Metal Pirates's Juliusz Dyczkowski made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Joel Delfino was left in no man's land by his defense there! Heavy Metal Pirates's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
