Honorio Oso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jean Fernandez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 6 minutes into the match, C.A Gryffindor's goal looked a bit too open when Timoteo Ponce came free, but Benê de Mendonça reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jean Fernandez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Honorio Oso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Arsenio Francesco hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. The supporters of C.A Gryffindor booed when Apocalípticos & Caóticos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Timoteo Ponce didn't get a good kick on the ball. Apocalípticos & Caóticos's Honorio Oso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jean Fernandez in the 19th minute of play. In the 20th minute C.A Gryffindor were awarded a corner. Ramiro Passos went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Ramiro Passos almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Apocalípticos & Caóticos's Honorio Oso did a great save. A collision led to Apocalípticos & Caóticos getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Fernan Ellande hit a great ball. Honorio Oso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jean Fernandez, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. In the 27th minute, Jean Fernandez left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The C.A Gryffindor fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. A sloppy throw-in by Fernan Ellande in the 34th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by C.A Gryffindor's George Lucas. Honorio Oso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jean Fernandez in the 36th minute of the match. Benê de Mendonça showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dionisio Rami, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. In the 44th minute, Jean Fernandez made a precise shot to the right of Honorio Oso. Apocalípticos & Caóticos's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. After having played for 47 minutes, Ricardinho Trigo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. C.A Gryffindor's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ricardinho Trigo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After the first half C.A Gryffindor were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Arsenio Francesco to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arsenio Francesco in the 56th minute of play forced C.A Gryffindor's goalkeeper Benê de Mendonça to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jean Fernandez in the 58th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Honorio Oso saved Apocalípticos & Caóticos from getting behind. In the 66th minute, Jean Fernandez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Apocalípticos & Caóticos made a substitution. Mariano Luke replaced Nicanor Gomez. Apocalípticos & Caóticos's Eugenio Feliu was substituted for Andres Bitxintxo. In the 67th match minute, C.A Gryffindor was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jean Fernandez to maneuver through the defense. C.A Gryffindor's George Lucas quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Fernan Ellande, made in the 70th minute of the game. Jean Fernandez could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 71st minute of the match, but Honorio Oso made a huge save. After 72 played minutes, Apocalípticos & Caóticos's Everardo Policarpio shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Benê de Mendonça came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Apocalípticos & Caóticos reached it. When Jean Fernandez in the 76th play minute got the chance to kick a hard shot on goal from short distance neither the defense or Honorio Oso kept up with the ball and suddenly the score was 0-4 when the ball slipped into goal inside the left pole. If Arsenio Francesco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Honorio Oso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jean Fernandez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. C.A Gryffindor's George Lucas managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Fernan Ellande in the 85 minute of the game. In the 86th match minute, C.A Gryffindor was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edgard Mangueira to maneuver through the defense. A sloppy throw-in by Fernan Ellande in the 88th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by C.A Gryffindor's George Lucas.

The C.A Gryffindor players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
