An unexpectedly hard shot by Camron Rhodes in the 4th minute of play forced Strömsbro IF's goalkeeper Ivar Albohm to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ivar Albohm made a fantastic save in the 5th minute, when Anthony Heywood sent off a good shot on target. A sloppy throw-in by Damian Dyson in the 11th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Strömsbro IF's Ludvig Wennersten. In the 17th minute, Giga Mønster got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Grant Blacknell made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dag Kihlberg in the 19th minute of play. Grant Blacknell stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Giga Mønster's shot from short distance in the 22nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Camron Rhodes in the 24th minute of play forced Strömsbro IF's goalkeeper Ivar Albohm to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Giga Mønster in the 25th minute of play forced Leicester Lions's goalkeeper Grant Blacknell to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 27 played minutes Strömsbro IF got a freekick which was hit by Karl-Oskar Beneth. 2-0 became the score in the 28th minute when Şükür Hagi elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Strömsbro IF's Ivar Albohm proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 31st minute of the match, managed to save Strömsbro IF from getting a goal against them. Karl-Oskar Beneth hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. With his leg Ivar Albohm managed to avoid a goal in the 37thth minute, when Leicester Lions's Şükür Hagi fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Şükür Hagi got free with Ivar Albohm in the 39th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 40 minutes Strömsbro IF's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Anthony Heywood who took care of the corner kick. Ivar Albohm showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mike Wadham, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. With a little luck, Strömsbro IF's Ivar Albohm got control of the ball when Camron Rhodes tried to sneak it across the goal line. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

A collision led to Strömsbro IF getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Roy Vallengren hit a great ball. In the 55th minute of the match Damian Dyson sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ivar Albohm skillfully saved the ball. The Leicester Lions fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. After 86 minutes of play, Leicester Lions's Camron Rhodes made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ivar Albohm was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 93rd minute, Camron Rhodes left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Leicester Lions fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-0. Strömsbro IF's Ivar Albohm played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Glyn Everard in the 96th minute of play.

The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Leicester Lions fans cheered their team off the field, for while Strömsbro IF had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
