Rahman Uçanok hit a great ball. After 4 minutes of play, Inmortales FC's Mitch Rushing made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Vefa Neşit was left in no man's land by his defense there! With a little luck, Inmortales FC's Cristopher Herndon got control of the ball when Ulu Yıldız tried to sneak it across the goal line. 11 minutes into the game, Inmortales FC's Tony Frye nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Vefa Neşit made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Wesley Cage took the ball and in the 14 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Vefa Neşit. Vefa Neşit dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. With a little luck, Inmortales FC's Cristopher Herndon got control of the ball when Baykan Yıldırımtürk tried to sneak it across the goal line. Mitch Rushing received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Vefa Neşit tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 23 minutes into the match, Sansargiller FK's goal looked a bit too open when Mitch Rushing came free, but Vefa Neşit reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Inmortales FC booed when Sansargiller FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ulu Yıldız didn't get a good kick on the ball. Vefa Neşit took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cory Cangiano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 37th minute, Tony Frye managed to get in a good position for a shot. Inmortales FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Tony Frye was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Vefa Neşit breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 43rd minute, Sansargiller FK's Baykan Yıldırımtürk dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-4. Cristopher Herndon was out of position in the 46 minute of play, and Burhanettin Özgebay capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Burhanettin Özgebay really showed his touch with that goal: 2-4. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 2-4 lead.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Fırat Ankara made a kick off. Vefa Neşit made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wesley Cage in the 52nd minute of play. After some careless play in the Sansargiller FK defense, Mitch Rushing kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Vefa Neşit. The Sansargiller FK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Vefa Neşit should have stopped the shot. After a rather tough play, Sansargiller FK's Hüseyin Turan Torhan got a free kick in the 56th minute. In the 57th minute Wesley Cage shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vefa Neşit saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 58th minute Inmortales FC were awarded a corner. Mitch Rushing went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Wesley Cage almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Sansargiller FK's Vefa Neşit did a great save. After a rather tough play, Sansargiller FK's Burhanettin Özgebay got a free kick in the 63rd minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tayyip Akaydın in the 66th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cristopher Herndon saved Inmortales FC from getting behind. In the 69th play minute Tony Frye came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Vefa Neşit. 2-6. After a rather tough play, Inmortales FC's Cory Cangiano got a free kick in the 71st minute. Inmortales FC's Cristopher Herndon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fırat Ankara in the 73rd minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tony Frye got free with Vefa Neşit in the 74th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Elias Lim was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 77 minutes into the match. After 76 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Inmortales FC! The referee gave Sansargiller FK a penalty, 78 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Yağızhan İnciroğlu, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Inmortales FC's Cristopher Herndon. 3-6. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mitch Rushing got free with Vefa Neşit in the 93rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 96th minute, Cory Cangiano ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Vefa Neşit was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-7.
The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Inmortales FC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
