The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Korneliusz Barna blasted a shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Cyprian Filanowski having to make a save. Cyprian Filanowski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Korneliusz Barna in the 4th minute of the match. Korneliusz Barna might have been able to make a better finish in the 6th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Cyprian Filanowski. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Korneliusz Barna ran back to his position shaking his head. Cyprian Filanowski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Korneliusz Barna, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. Kazimierz Mirowski made in the 9th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Gustaw Chlebek. Ulryk Winnicki received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Flavio Peter tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 22 minutes into the game, Batalionul U23 Dorobanti's Korneliusz Barna nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Cyprian Filanowski made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. In the 28th minute the ball was on its way in behind Czarni Chropaczów's goalkeeper Cyprian Filanowski, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Flavio Peter made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tugay Katib in the 35th minute of play. Mugur Bejan kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. 37 minutes into the match, Batalionul U23 Dorobanti's goal looked a bit too open when Ulryk Winnicki came free, but Flavio Peter reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Tugay Katib's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Flavio Peter was relentless in the 39th minute of the game. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Korneliusz Barna made a kick off. In the 50th match minute, Czarni Chropaczów was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kazimierz Mirowski to maneuver through the defense. In the 52nd minute, Ulisses Doro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Korneliusz Barna had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 60th minute of the game. One of Batalionul U23 Dorobanti:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Czarni Chropaczów:s goal. Batalionul U23 Dorobanti:s Flavio Peter showed great skill when he stopped Tugay Katib:s penalty. Korneliusz Barna who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 65thth minute tested the skills of Cyprian Filanowski when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Czarni Chropaczów's Cyprian Filanowski proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 67th minute of the match, managed to save Czarni Chropaczów from getting a goal against them. When Emilian Mateianu fell near the penalty area in the 68th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Batalionul U23 Dorobanti's protests and gave Emilian Mateianu a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Batalionul U23 Dorobanti's Emilian Mateianu got a free kick in the 68th minute. In the 69th minute of the match Bernard Lesiecki sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Flavio Peter skillfully saved the ball. Czarni Chropaczów's Jacek Lech got a good chance for a goal in the 74th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 80th minute, Korneliusz Barna hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A throw-in in the 82nd minute of the game was made by Kazimierz Mirowski with Jacek Lech as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Cyprian Filanowski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Korneliusz Barna in the 84th minute of the match. In the 85th minute of the match Batalionul U23 Dorobanti got a corner. Czarni Chropaczów's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Mugur Bejan ran over to the corner to take the kick. A collision led to Czarni Chropaczów getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Ulryk Winnicki hit a great ball. Czarni Chropaczów's Cyprian Filanowski proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 96th minute of the match, managed to save Czarni Chropaczów from getting a goal against them. Cyprian Filanowski made a fantastic save in the 97th minute, when Korneliusz Barna sent off a good shot on target.

When the final whistle went the supporters of Batalionul U23 Dorobanti were delighted that their team had defeated the much more dominant Czarni Chropaczów side.
