An unexpectedly hard shot by Sixto Belasko in the 4th minute of play forced KIA KAHA's goalkeeper Fabio Santilli to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ciro Gombal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Glanselius, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. The KIA KAHA fans' excitement grew in the 9th match minute when KIA KAHA's Nicklas Smitt looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After 12 minutes of play, KIA KAHA's Daniel Glanselius made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ciro Gombal was left in no man's land by his defense there! Fabio Santilli acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 16th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Marciano Koldobika. KIA KAHA's Daniel Glanselius got a good chance for a goal in the 20th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a little luck, KIA KAHA's Fabio Santilli got control of the ball when Vinicio Checa tried to sneak it across the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Daniel Glanselius in the 26th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ciro Gombal saved Deportivo Balvanera from getting behind. Daniel Glanselius might have been able to make a better finish in the 28th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ciro Gombal. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Daniel Glanselius ran back to his position shaking his head. Ciro Gombal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nicklas Smitt in the 33rd minute of play. 33 minutes into the game, Candido Jakes was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Deportivo Balvanera's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave KIA KAHA the free kick. In the 34th match minute, Deportivo Balvanera was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Candido Jakes to maneuver through the defense. Ciro Gombal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Glanselius in the 34th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Florentino Petrigai got free with Fabio Santilli in the 36th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After some careless play in the Deportivo Balvanera defense, Daniel Glanselius kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ciro Gombal. The Deportivo Balvanera fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ciro Gombal should have stopped the shot. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Daniel Glanselius in the 40th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ciro Gombal saved Deportivo Balvanera from getting behind. The Deportivo Balvanera players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. KIA KAHA were winning 0-3.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Nicklas Smitt was the one to do the kick off. Daniel Glanselius struck a weak shot in the 54th minute. Ciro Gombal didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for KIA KAHA. The supporters of KIA KAHA booed when Deportivo Balvanera was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adolfo Poz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Deportivo Balvanera's Lisandro López was substituted for Florentino Petrigai. KIA KAHA made a substitution. Chatziantoniou Anagnostopoulos replaced Daniel Glanselius. KIA KAHA made a substitution. Billy Andberg replaced Nicklas Smitt. A collision led to Deportivo Balvanera getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Adolfo Poz hit a great ball. With a little luck, Deportivo Balvanera's Ciro Gombal got control of the ball when Chatziantoniou Anagnostopoulos tried to sneak it across the goal line. Chatziantoniou Anagnostopoulos's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ciro Gombal read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 70th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 71 minutes, Billy Andberg put it in 0-6 from a short distance just to the right of Ciro Gombal. Deportivo Balvanera's Ciro Gombal proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 77th minute of the match, managed to save Deportivo Balvanera from getting a goal against them. 78 minutes into the match, KIA KAHA's goal looked a bit too open when Cristobal Hulberto came free, but Fabio Santilli reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Adolfo Poz fell near the penalty area in the 87th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Deportivo Balvanera's protests and gave Adolfo Poz a yellow card for diving instead. In the 87th match minute, Deportivo Balvanera was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adolfo Poz to maneuver through the defense. The crowd rose to their feet as Chatziantoniou Anagnostopoulos kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Ciro Gombal. That made the score 0-7 in the 88 minute of play. In the 92nd minute Chatziantoniou Anagnostopoulos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ciro Gombal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ciro Gombal made a fantastic save in the 94th minute, when Chatziantoniou Anagnostopoulos sent off a good shot on target. Chatziantoniou Anagnostopoulos took the ball and in the 95 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ciro Gombal. Ciro Gombal dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-8.

When the final whistle sounded KIA KAHA left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Deportivo Balvanera.
