Sabin Pânzaru made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. Gabriel Porfiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Qian Cheng Xing in the 21st minute of the match. Habil Castolo hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. Sabin Pânzaru showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Chen Peng Bin, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. 24 minutes into the match, Chen Peng Bin had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Sabin Pânzaru. the xeneise dream team's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Chen Peng Bin was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. In the 28th play minute Chen Peng Bin came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Sabin Pânzaru. 4-0. Sabin Pânzaru made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Chen Peng Bin in the 31st minute of play. In the 36th minute Lucio Gabino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gabriel Porfiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gabriel Porfiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Qian Cheng Xing in the 39th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Habil Castolo in the 41st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gabriel Porfiro prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 43rd minute Qian Cheng Xing shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gabriel Porfiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Chen Peng Bin struck a weak shot in the 45th minute. Sabin Pânzaru didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Luganeros AFC. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-0.

Luganeros AFC's Artemio Argoitz was substituted for Gary Bale. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Artemio Argoitz was the one to do the kick off. With his leg Gabriel Porfiro managed to avoid a goal in the 53rdth minute, when the xeneise dream team's Lucio Gabino fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Artemio Argoitz in the 54th minute of play forced the xeneise dream team's goalkeeper Sabin Pânzaru to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Luganeros AFC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Jorge Abreu in the 57th minute. When Luganeros AFC's Chen Peng Bin in the 62nd minute got a chance for a shot 62nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The supporters of Luganeros AFC booed when the xeneise dream team was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position.
