In the 9th match minute, Metalducks was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Evren Düden to maneuver through the defense. Aleksander Engström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Epaminondas Baba in the 10th minute of play. With a little luck, Metalducks's Aleksander Engström got control of the ball when Arnaldo Tróia tried to sneak it across the goal line. 16 minutes had been played when some careless play by Batalhão do Peçanha's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Tony Modig was slow to take the kick. During this time Metalducks's players had a chance to rest. Petr Čech made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Morgan Kilberg in the 19th minute of play. Aleksander Engström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Epaminondas Baba in the 22nd minute of the match. Michael Lidström kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. Eppo Pollmann's shot from long distance in the 24th minute was not bad at all, but Metalducks's Aleksander Engström knew what was happening and pushed the ball into his arms just before it hit the right post. Aleksander Engström stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Epaminondas Baba's shot from short distance in the 26th minute. In the 27th minute of the match Batalhão do Peçanha got a corner. Metalducks's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Eppo Pollmann ran over to the corner to take the kick. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Epaminondas Baba in the 31st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Aleksander Engström prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a little luck, Metalducks's Aleksander Engström got control of the ball when Deng Yue Zhen tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 37th minute, Batalhão do Peçanha's Deng Yue Zhen dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. Jens-Ola Gunnarsson hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Epaminondas Baba in the 43rd minute of play forced Metalducks's goalkeeper Aleksander Engström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Petr Čech took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Morgan Kilberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Batalhão do Peçanha's Christian Peixoto got a free kick in the 48th minute.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jon Eklund was the one to do the kick off. 53 minutes into the match, Metalducks's goal looked a bit too open when Epaminondas Baba came free, but Aleksander Engström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 55 minutes Metalducks's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Eppo Pollmann who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on Batalhão do Peçanha's corner Eppo Pollmann fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Aleksander Engström quite easily take care of the ball. Aleksander Engström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Deng Yue Zhen in the 60th minute of play. In the 63rd minute of the match Batalhão do Peçanha got a corner. Metalducks's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Eppo Pollmann ran over to the corner to take the kick. In the 71stth minute of the game Epaminondas Baba who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Metalducks's Aleksander Engström was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Christian Peixoto made in the 74th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Metalducks's Torgny Lidberg. Aleksander Engström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Epaminondas Baba in the 77th minute of the match. Aleksander Engström came out of the goal in the 81st minute to try and stop a shot by Batalhão do Peçanha's Deng Yue Zhen. But to his dismay, Deng Yue Zhen quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Metalducks made a substitution. Greger Skröder replaced Jon Eklund. 87 minutes into the match, Metalducks's goal looked a bit too open when Epaminondas Baba came free, but Aleksander Engström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Metalducks's Aleksander Engström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Deng Yue Zhen in the 89th minute of play. Batalhão do Peçanha's Arnaldo Tróia quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Morgan Kilberg, made in the 90th minute of the game. After 92 played minutes Metalducks got a freekick which was hit by Tony Modig. A collision led to Metalducks getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Tony Modig hit a great ball. Eppo Pollmann's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Aleksander Engström read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 94th minute of play. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Batalhão do Peçanha fully deserved thier win.
