In the 3rd match minute, DENVER™ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luís Eduardo Araújo to maneuver through the defense. Luiz Fabiano Abraão might have been able to make a better finish in the 4th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Toninho Pinheiro. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Luiz Fabiano Abraão ran back to his position shaking his head. Toninho Pinheiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Erasmo Mesquita in the 8th minute of the match. Celsinho da Silveira took the ball and in the 9 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Toninho Pinheiro. Toninho Pinheiro dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. After 13 played minutes MAZER SAF got a freekick which was hit by Félix Torres. Guilherme Abud hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. DENVER™'s Toninho Pinheiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Igor Coronado in the 19th minute of play. Toninho Pinheiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Celsinho da Silveira in the 19th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Igor Coronado in the 21st minute of play forced DENVER™'s goalkeeper Toninho Pinheiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Yuri Alberto took the ball and in the 24 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Toninho Pinheiro. Toninho Pinheiro dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. 31 minutes into the game, Guilherme Abud recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Osvaldo Marques. Guilherme Abud showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-2. MAZER SAF's Osvaldo Marques played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nilmar Freitas in the 37th minute of play. Toninho Pinheiro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Yuri Alberto, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. Erasmo Mesquita's late challenge caught a DENVER™'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Erasmo Mesquita helped the player get up and apologised. In the 42nd minute, Erasmo Mesquita hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Yuri Alberto in the 44th minute of play forced DENVER™'s goalkeeper Toninho Pinheiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 46th minute Igor Coronado shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Toninho Pinheiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Toninho Pinheiro didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 53rd minute, which inside left pole to 1-3. DENVER™'s Toninho Pinheiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Igor Coronado in the 56th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Celsinho da Silveira kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Toninho Pinheiro. That made the score 1-4 in the 58 minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as MAZER SAF's Igor Coronado slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Toninho Pinheiro. That made the score 1-5 after 64 minutes of play. MAZER SAF made a substitution. Bernardinho Cunha replaced Celsinho da Silveira. MAZER SAF's Adriano Rosa was substituted for Jarbas Borges. 70 minutes into the match, Yuri Alberto dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Toninho Pinheiro, 1-6. Bernardinho Cunha could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 75th minute of the match, but Toninho Pinheiro made a huge save. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Nilton Netto during the 76th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 76 played minutes DENVER™ got a freekick which was hit by Nilton Netto. The supporters of MAZER SAF booed when DENVER™ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Waldir Romero didn't get a good kick on the ball. Igor Coronado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Toninho Pinheiro having to interfere. In the 86th play minute Bernardinho Cunha came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Toninho Pinheiro. 1-7. In the 92nd minute, Clemente Arósio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A hard shot by Luiz Fabiano Abraão from long distance, 92 minutes into the match, got Toninho Pinheiro's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Igor Coronado kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match.
