Enio Matorin charged in rather forcefully in the 4th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Enio Matorin the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 4th match minute, S.C. Reis United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Enio Matorin to maneuver through the defense. In the 10th minute Osmar Cardozo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but João Paulo Urbano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Joel Varela during the 15th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 15th minute, Joel Varela hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After recieving a nice pass, Arsenal de Gols F.C's Allan Dante tried to score from far away in the 16th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Arsenal de Gols F.C's Duda Moura got a free kick in the 20th minute. After some careless play in the Arsenal de Gols F.C defense, Rodriguinho de Toledo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Delfim Pernambucano. The Arsenal de Gols F.C fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Delfim Pernambucano should have stopped the shot. In the 33rd match minute, S.C. Reis United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Henrique Trigo to maneuver through the defense. In the 34th minute of the match Allan Dante shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but João Paulo Urbano showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 38th minute, S.C. Reis United's Rodriguinho de Toledo dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. João Paulo Urbano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Duda Moura in the 42nd minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.
João Paulo Urbano didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Duda Moura went, in the 56th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. In the 60th minute, Henrique Trigo made a precise shot to the right of Delfim Pernambucano. Arsenal de Gols F.C's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. Delfim Pernambucano came out of the goal in the 64th minute to try and stop a shot by S.C. Reis United's Rodriguinho de Toledo. But to his dismay, Rodriguinho de Toledo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-1. In the 68th minute Henrique Trigo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Delfim Pernambucano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 74 minutes into the game, S.C. Reis United's Fabinho Pereira nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Delfim Pernambucano made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-1. 79 minutes into the game, Luiz Leite was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. S.C. Reis United's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Arsenal de Gols F.C the free kick. The supporters of Arsenal de Gols F.C booed when S.C. Reis United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luiz Leite didn't get a good kick on the ball. João Paulo Urbano made an important save on a dangerous shot by Basílio Tande in the 86th minute. Arsenal de Gols F.C's Delfim Pernambucano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Amadeu Negri in the 87th minute of play. Henrique Trigo got his second yellow card in the match during the 88th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. In the 89th match minute, S.C. Reis United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Henrique Trigo to maneuver through the defense. João Paulo Urbano came out of the goal in the 92nd minute to try and stop a shot by Arsenal de Gols F.C's Duda Moura. But to his dismay, Duda Moura quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-2. When Fabinho Pereira fell near the penalty area in the 96th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored S.C. Reis United's protests and gave Fabinho Pereira a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, S.C. Reis United's Fabinho Pereira got a free kick in the 96th minute. For all the effort they put into the match, the Arsenal de Gols F.C players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for S.C. Reis United.
