When the match had gone on for 10 minutes, Ömer Demirci took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Ellis Schenck to make any attempt to save it. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ubaldo Padro in the 18th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Şemsettin Tuyuğ saved KOCAELİSPOR from getting behind. Peng Yang Guang hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. Şemsettin Tuyuğ didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ubaldo Padro went, in the 28th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. 37 minutes into the game, one of KOCAELİSPOR:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. After 38 minutes of play, Zlatan BK's Ubaldo Padro made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Şemsettin Tuyuğ was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Ömer Demirci in the 45th minute of play forced Zlatan BK's goalkeeper Ellis Schenck to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ubaldo Padro to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Verner Holmstedt hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ellis Schenck came out of the goal in the 62nd minute to try and stop a shot by KOCAELİSPOR's Ömer Demirci. After resting during the break, the players from both teams went out on the field looking very concentrated. It was now first half of the overtime. Aşır Zabit made the kick off and play began. After a rather tough play, KOCAELİSPOR's Aşır Zabit got a free kick in the 99th minute. When the match was over Zlatan BK could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than KOCAELİSPOR throughout the match.
