A collision led to Estrellas de Caballito getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Cleto Mano hit a great ball. After recieving a nice pass, Suipacha FC's Alfredo Bemabe tried to score from far away in the 5th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Leandro Brei was out of position in the 7 minute of play, and Luis Romero capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Luis Romero really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. When the match had gone on for 13 minutes, Matias Montrelle took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Leandro Brei to make any attempt to save it. Leandro Brei didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Luis Romero went, in the 16th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. In the 18th minute Ciriaco Afonso suffered a foot injury and had to be helped off the field. Estrellas de Caballito made a substitution. Cristian Obano replaced Ciriaco Afonso. After 19 played minutes Suipacha FC got a freekick which was hit by Leonardo Arce. Leandro Brei was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 20th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Anselmo Pitin. In the 22nd match minute, Suipacha FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alfredo Bemabe to maneuver through the defense. Leandro Brei took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Matias Montrelle, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 24th match minute, Suipacha FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rosendo Harriet to maneuver through the defense. Leandro Brei showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eugenio Delfino in the 25th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Estrellas de Caballito's Luis Romero got a free kick in the 26th minute. In a very dangerous position, a player in Suipacha FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 29th minute. Penalty! When the match had been going on for 30 minutes, Estrellas de Caballito's Anselmo Pitin got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Leandro Brei. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jeronimo Bento got free with Leandro Brei in the 38th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Luis Romero could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 39th minute of the match, but Leandro Brei made a huge save. Luis Romero's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Leandro Brei firmly grabbed it by the left post. Leandro Brei made a fantastic save in the 43rd minute, when Jeronimo Bento sent off a good shot on target. In the 45th match minute, Suipacha FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aaron Anselmino to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Luis Romero got free with Leandro Brei in the 48th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Luis Romero to strike the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the game, Estrellas de Caballito's Luis Romero nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Leandro Brei made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-0. Leandro Brei made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jeronimo Bento in the 56th minute of play. Leandro Brei showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luis Romero, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. Jeronimo Bento scored 6-0 in the 61st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Leandro Brei, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 67th minute, Luis Romero hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Estrellas de Caballito made a substitution. Patricio Sabin replaced Alberto Refugio. Luis Romero kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. In the 71st minute, Cristian Obano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 78th minute Jeronimo Bento shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leandro Brei saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 88th minute, Luis Romero made a precise shot to the right of Leandro Brei. Suipacha FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 7-0. Estrellas de Caballito's Anselmo Pitin got a good chance for a goal in the 92nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 96 minutes into the match, Jeronimo Bento notched a goal, 8-0, to the right of Suipacha FC's Leandro Brei. Leandro Brei was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Estrellas de Caballito walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
