Caxias do Sul's Ricardinho de Senna got a good chance for a goal in the 29th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Andrea Moschetta didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ricardinho de Senna went, in the 35th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Lei Feng Yan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Andrea Moschetta having to interfere. Esen Sanal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Enzo Delle Donne in the 39th minute of the match. S.E.R. Caxias do Sul's Esen Sanal proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 40th minute of the match, managed to save S.E.R. Caxias do Sul from getting a goal against them. Esen Sanal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniele Massaro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 76thth minute of the game Daniele Massaro who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but S.E.R. Caxias do Sul's Esen Sanal was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball.
