The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Andres Drogba in the 15th minute a chance for a shot on goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Andres Drogba in the 16th minute of play forced Ψ virgen Ψ's goalkeeper Antonio Sengrat to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Stephan Alards recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 32nd minute, Andres Drogba ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Antonio Sengrat was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. After a rather tough play, Skyfall's Charles Puyol got a free kick in the 34th minute. 36 minutes into the game, Pepillo Santandres threw the ball into play from the sideline. Skyfall's Charles Puyol quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Anfilogino Arpaia kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. Feyzullay İltemur took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leonardo Pisculichi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Antonio Sengrat showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Andres Drogba, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Michael Ahlroth to make the kick off.
