Leif Opdal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Heinrich Rittmann, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Nils Kettler fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leif Opdal having to interfere. Brufoss IL's Leif Opdal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Manuel Peres in the 12th minute of play. If August Bergsland had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Brufoss IL getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Jan-Kenneth Heistad hit a great ball. Leif Opdal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Manuel Peres, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling August Bergsland in the 17th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Siim Kikas prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 17thth minute of the game August Bergsland who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but De Gulden Draak's Siim Kikas was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 22nd match minute, Brufoss IL was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Frode Tobiassen to maneuver through the defense. August Bergsland received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Siim Kikas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Siim Kikas was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that August Bergsland couldn't finish the play. After 60 minutes, Kevin Strømsnes mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Brufoss IL and the De Gulden Draak players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Brufoss IL booed when De Gulden Draak was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Konstantin Havemann didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 63rd minute, Frode Tobiassen got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The referee showed August Bergsland the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 80 played minutes Brufoss IL got a freekick which was hit by August Bergsland. Eric Ferstad might have been able to make a better finish in the 82nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Siim Kikas. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Eric Ferstad ran back to his position shaking his head. After some fancy dribbling in the 83rd minute, Eric Ferstad managed to get in a good position for a shot. Brufoss IL's supporters rose to their feet, but Eric Ferstad was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Siim Kikas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 85th minute Manuel Peres shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leif Opdal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 87thth minute of the game Manuel Peres who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Brufoss IL's Leif Opdal was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Leif Opdal was out of position in the 90 minute of play, and Manuel Peres capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Manuel Peres really showed his touch with that goal: 4-2. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Manuel Peres in the 93rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Leif Opdal prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 94 minutes into the match, Brufoss IL's goal looked a bit too open when Heinrich Rittmann came free, but Leif Opdal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Brufoss IL were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of De Gulden Draak for a fine match.
