The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 5 minutes, Alberto Moscoso mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the REAL COHOLICS and the Elizabeth Three Lions FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Emanuel Peren showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Danny Flintoff in the 7th minute of the match. 9 minutes into the game, Elizabeth Three Lions FC's Richard Scholten nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Emanuel Peren made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. During the 12th minute of the match Alberto Moscoso completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Alberto Moscoso a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. The supporters of Elizabeth Three Lions FC booed when REAL COHOLICS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alberto Moscoso didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 15th minute Danny Ings shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emanuel Peren saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Emanuel Peren made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Danny Ings in the 17th minute of play. Jonathan Henriguez blasted a shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Arne Söderberg having to make a save. After a rather tough play, Elizabeth Three Lions FC's Tony Hibbert got a free kick in the 25th minute. Jose Vergara's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Arne Söderberg firmly grabbed it by the left post. Max Valdez kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. After having played for 34 minutes, Danny Flintoff managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Elizabeth Three Lions FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Danny Flintoff was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 35 minutes into the game, Danny Ings cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Emanuel Peren was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Danny Ings sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Emanuel Peren showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Danny Ings, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. Moisés Moscoso kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match.

The wind increased when Danny Ings made the kick off in the second half. When the match had gone on for 54 minutes, Richard Scholten took a quick shot and it went in 0-3 without a chance for Emanuel Peren to make any attempt to save it. The audience was convinced that Franklin Quintero's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Arne Söderberg was relentless in the 60th minute of the game. Arne Söderberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jose Vergara, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Elizabeth Three Lions FC's Danny Hill got a free kick in the 67th minute. 70 minutes into the match, Elizabeth Three Lions FC's goal looked a bit too open when Jose Vergara came free, but Arne Söderberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. REAL COHOLICS's Emanuel Peren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Richard Scholten in the 88th minute of play. If Jose Vergara had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Elizabeth Three Lions FC's Kev Bryant got a free kick in the 91st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Franklin Quintero in the 95th minute of play forced Elizabeth Three Lions FC's goalkeeper Arne Söderberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the final whistle sounded Elizabeth Three Lions FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than REAL COHOLICS.
