None of the them looked very eager to play. 许明卫 started the match with the kick off. Elpidio Francis blasted a shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Sebastian Quirce having to make a save. In the 5th minute Elpidio Francis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sebastian Quirce saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sebastian Quirce was out of position in the 7 minute of play, and Elpidio Francis capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Elpidio Francis really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. The supporters of ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA booed when Pan FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rolando Diegotxe didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, Pan FC's Sebastian Quirce got control of the ball when Elpidio Francis tried to sneak it across the goal line. Arturo Jon kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. Branislav Velchevski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from 许明卫 in the 22nd minute of play. When Pan FC's 许明卫 in the 30th minute got a chance for a shot 30th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA's goalie prevented a goal. Sebastian Quirce showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Elpidio Francis in the 34th minute of the match. 36 minutes had been played when some careless play by Pan FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Miguel Prosperi was slow to take the kick. During this time ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA's players had a chance to rest. ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA's Elpidio Francis was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Sebastian Quirce in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Sebastian Quirce stood somewhat misplaced when Elpidio Francis came free in front of goal and shot 2-1 to the left of him in the 36 minute. Branislav Velchevski came out of the goal in the 46th minute to try and stop a shot by Pan FC's 许明卫. But to his dismay, 许明卫 quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Elpidio Francis to strike the kick off in the second half. Ambrosio Opilanos short, quick shot in the 52ndth minute got Branislav Velchevski to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 54th minute Miguel Prosperi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sebastian Quirce saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 58 minutes into the match, Pan FC's goal looked a bit too open when Elpidio Francis came free, but Sebastian Quirce reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Pan FC's Arturo Jon got a free kick in the 59th minute. In the 61st minute, Arturo Jon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a little luck, ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA's Branislav Velchevski got control of the ball when Ambrosio Opilano tried to sneak it across the goal line. Miguel Prosperi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sebastian Quirce having to interfere. Branislav Velchevski made a fantastic save in the 73rd minute, when Ambrosio Opilano sent off a good shot on target. Pan FC's Sebastian Quirce played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Elpidio Francis in the 75th minute of play. Branislav Velchevski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arnaldo Urtzi, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. In the 86th minute the ball was on its way in behind ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA's goalkeeper Branislav Velchevski, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. A nice corner shot did that Nemesio Tello got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Branislav Velchevski quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. With a little luck, ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA's Branislav Velchevski got control of the ball when Arnaldo Urtzi tried to sneak it across the goal line. Sebastian Quirce showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Elpidio Francis, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. Pan FC's Sebastian Quirce played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Elpidio Francis in the 96th minute of play.
