Gavino Raymundo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sebastian Quirce having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ambrosio Opilano in the 16th minute of play forced Estudiantes de América's goalkeeper Marcos Ranolfo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kert Roolaid's late challenge caught a Pan FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Kert Roolaid helped the player get up and apologised. In the 18th minute, Kert Roolaid hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by 许明卫 in the 22nd minute of play forced Estudiantes de América's goalkeeper Marcos Ranolfo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Arturo Jon during the 25th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Sebastian Quirce took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Concetto Trasatti, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sebastian Quirce stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Concetto Trasatti's shot from short distance in the 43rd minute. When Nelson Hawley fell near the penalty area in the 46th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Pan FC's protests and gave Nelson Hawley a yellow card for diving instead. Nelson Hawley hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. After 49 minutes Pan FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Maximo Dei who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on Estudiantes de América's corner Maximo Dei fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Sebastian Quirce quite easily take care of the ball. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Concetto Trasatti to make the kick off. Sebastian Quirce showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gavino Raymundo, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. Marcos Ranolfo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from 许明卫 in the 59th minute of play. Gavino Raymundo struck a weak shot in the 61st minute. Sebastian Quirce didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Estudiantes de América. Estudiantes de América made a substitution. Cornelio Ruisko replaced Traian Blăniță. Estudiantes de América's Kraig Fred was substituted for Concetto Trasatti. Estudiantes de América's Flavio Iraunkor was substituted for Gavino Raymundo. 许明卫 might have been able to make a better finish in the 64th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Marcos Ranolfo. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Kraig Fred in the 75th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sebastian Quirce prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ambrosio Opilano could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 79th minute of the match, but Marcos Ranolfo made a huge save. Pan FC made a substitution. Emilio Bitxintxo replaced Primitivo Laurendi. 83 minutes in the game Beltrán De Filippo did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Sixto Raymond. The crowd rose to their feet as Ambrosio Opilano kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Marcos Ranolfo. That made the score 0-1 in the 85 minute of play. Sebastian Quirce made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cornelio Ruisko in the 89th minute of play. 91 minutes into the match, Pan FC's goal looked a bit too open when Kraig Fred came free, but Sebastian Quirce reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 94th minute Arnaldo Urtzi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcos Ranolfo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pan FC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
