Robert Paraszczuk made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. In the 12th minute, Fragleses's Zlatko Ibrahimović ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Korneliusz Rasimowicz. Korneliusz Rasimowicz yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. Fragleses's Robert Paraszczuk played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eugeniusz Poniewaz in the 15th minute of play. In the 16th minute of the match, Jaroslaw Blochowiak got a very nice opportunity to score, but Korneliusz Rasimowicz was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 16th minute, Fragleses's Jaroslaw Blochowiak ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Korneliusz Rasimowicz. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eugeniusz Poniewaz in the 24th minute of play forced Fragleses's goalkeeper Robert Paraszczuk to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Korneliusz Rasimowicz had in the 26thth minute some difficulties stopping Roch Dejo's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. The supporters of Ajax Poland booed when Fragleses was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ermegildo Rexino didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fragleses's supporters rose to their feet, but Zlatko Ibrahimović was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Korneliusz Rasimowicz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Zlatko Ibrahimović made a kick off. Korneliusz Rasimowicz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zlatko Ibrahimović, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mateusz Baran got free with Robert Paraszczuk in the 56th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Bob Leerbels's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Robert Paraszczuk read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 71st minute of play. After 71 played minutes Bob Leerbels rounded Fragleses's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 3-2. Fragleses made a substitution. Waldemar Wojtowicz replaced Olaf Wojtowicz. A sloppy throw-in by Lucjan Zima in the 77th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Fragleses's Jaroslaw Blochowiak. Korneliusz Rasimowicz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zlatko Ibrahimović in the 78th minute of the match. Bob Leerbels could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 81st minute of the match, but Robert Paraszczuk made a huge save. In the 83rd minute, Jaroslaw Blochowiak ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Korneliusz Rasimowicz was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-2. In the 87th minute, Antonio Valente fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Robert Paraszczuk, passed just outside the right post. Korneliusz Rasimowicz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zlatko Ibrahimović, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jaroslaw Blochowiak in the 96th minute of play forced Ajax Poland's goalkeeper Korneliusz Rasimowicz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 97th minute Fragleses were awarded a corner. Roch Dejo went to the cornerflag to take it. Ajax Poland's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
