Peter Heil kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. Kant Spel, 22 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lars Schuster in the 24th minute of play forced Here Comes the Hammer's goalkeeper Charles Björkqvist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Georg Arbogast scored 0-2 in the 26th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Charles Björkqvist, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Andre Myszka was out of position in the 29 minute of play, and Tage Deckbergh capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Tage Deckbergh really showed his touch with that goal: 1-2. Charles Björkqvist didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Georg Arbogast went, in the 34th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score. Here Comes the Hammer's Charles Björkqvist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luís Fernando Díaz in the 37th minute of play. Charles Björkqvist showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luís Fernando Díaz, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. In the 41st match minute, Here Comes the Hammer was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tage Deckbergh to maneuver through the defense. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Freestylers made a substitution. Dirk Schlager replaced Fatih Arendt. Andre Myszka stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tage Deckbergh's shot from short distance in the 73rd minute. Fred Petersson kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. Here Comes the Hammer's Gustav Larsfelt was substituted for Kant Spel. In the 82nd match minute, Here Comes the Hammer was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fred Petersson to maneuver through the defense. Evert Wahlnäs kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. Charles Björkqvist made a fantastic save in the 84th minute, when Marc-Joel Rademacher sent off a good shot on target. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Freestylers walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
