Eleuterio Rio ran over to the corner to take the kick. It was a well-played corner which Flavio Luar managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. El Fortín de Floresta's Lorenzo Macias proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 9th minute of the match, managed to save El Fortín de Floresta from getting a goal against them. 10 minutes into the game, Nestor Silviano was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. El Fortín de Floresta's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Orozcos the free kick. Lorenzo Macias made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Osvaldo Dolfos in the 11th minute of play. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Julian Jerrald to make the kick off. Fabricio Elixio hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. Flavio Luar could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 52nd minute of the match, but Amancio Oihan made a huge save. He walked away shaking his head. Amancio Oihan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marco Paulin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
