Colon Lasso could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 7th minute of the match, but Nestor Guillelmus made a huge save. Nestor Guillelmus took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Colon Lasso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 11th minute Wincenty Chlebek shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rubio Zalaya saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Wincenty Chlebek came up free with the goalie in the 14th minute, the Spurs To Glory fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Wincenty Chlebek couldn't finish the play. The crowd rose to their feet as Colon Lasso kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Nestor Guillelmus. That made the score 1-0 in the 19 minute of play. The audience was convinced that Khvicha Kvaratskhelia's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Rubio Zalaya was relentless in the 30th minute of the game. Nestor Guillelmus showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Colon Lasso, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Khvicha Kvaratskhelia was the one to do the kick off. Rubio Zalaya came out of the goal in the 52nd minute to try and stop a shot by Spurs To Glory's Wincenty Chlebek. But to his dismay, Wincenty Chlebek quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. 56 minutes into the game, Spurs To Glory's Wincenty Chlebek nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Rubio Zalaya made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. Fryderyk Olchowy hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. In the 63rd minute, Wincenty Chlebek reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Rubio Zalaya. The goal made the score 1-4. Spurs To Glory's Alfred Cizeski was substituted for Ludomil Kilarski. Spurs To Glory were awarded a corner in the 69th minute after Fútbol Club Insaar's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Alexander Rosén took the corner. It was a well-played corner which Gugu de Mendonça managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gugu de Mendonça in the 79th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rubio Zalaya prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience was convinced that Gugu de Mendonça's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Rubio Zalaya was relentless in the 79th minute of the game. After a defensive mix-up in Spurs To Glory's zone, Guo Zhou Feng stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nestor Guillelmus came out of the goal and Guo Zhou Feng tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the match clock showed 85 minutes, the score became 1-6 when Gugu de Mendonça sped through Fútbol Club Insaar's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Rubio Zalaya.

When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Spurs To Glory had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
