Cesare Simone was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Gică Hagi showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 19 minute of play. After 22nd play minutes Gică Hagi shot 2-0, a short shot which went by Cesare Simone and just under the crossbar into goal. Aron Vizitiu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 26th minute of the match, but Cesare Simone made a huge save. In the 26th minute, Aron Vizitiu reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Cesare Simone. The goal made the score 3-0. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Marian Crivac during the 31st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, FC MeHigh's Marian Crivac got a free kick in the 31st minute. 32 minutes into the match, Sorci Viola's goalkeeper Cesare Simone had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Aron Vizitiu. With an all-out effort, FC MeHigh's Cesare Simone threw himself towards the right post 34 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Gică Hagi, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Cesare Simone made an important save on a dangerous shot by Aron Vizitiu in the 40th minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

In the 51st minute, Beppe Zoff made a precise shot to the right of Adrian Pordea. FC MeHigh's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. Arturo Liberti's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Adrian Pordea read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 53rd minute of play. Cesare Simone made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gică Hagi in the 55th minute of play. Adrian Pordea made an important save on a dangerous shot by Amerigo Toninelli in the 58th minute. In the 62nd minute Silviu Corbeanu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cesare Simone saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sorci Viola's Cesare Simone played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aron Vizitiu in the 65th minute of play. Cesare Simone made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Valer Manta in the 67th minute of play. 68 minutes into the match, Sorci Viola's goal looked a bit too open when Valer Manta came free, but Cesare Simone reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cesare Simone took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aron Vizitiu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sorci Viola's Cesare Simone played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Valer Manta in the 73rd minute of play. FC MeHigh's Dan Braru was substituted for Aron Vizitiu. The supporters of FC MeHigh booed when Sorci Viola was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Amerigo Toninelli didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee felt a red card was in order, 82 minutes into the game, when Ionuț Vanghelie put in a rough tackle. Cesare Simone showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Remus Cojan in the 86th minute of the match. In the 87th minute Remus Cojan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cesare Simone saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the FC MeHigh defense, Arturo Liberti kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Adrian Pordea. The FC MeHigh fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Adrian Pordea should have stopped the shot. Cesare Simone didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Remus Cojan went, in the 96th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-3 was the resulting score.

There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. FC MeHigh fully deserved thier win.
