In the 8th match minute, Veth Crystals was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ahmet Rıfat Nurdag to maneuver through the defense. When The Northmen Army's Vicco Oolo in the 9th minute got a chance for a shot 9th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Mauro Milanos short, quick shot in the 20thth minute got Tomas Vennerlund to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After some fancy dribbling in the 25th minute, Ulysses Baldwin managed to get in a good position for a shot. The Northmen Army's supporters rose to their feet, but Ulysses Baldwin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Roland Czerniejewski breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 29th minute Veth Crystals were awarded a corner. Teofil Zagrobelny went to the cornerflag to take it. Bon Giorno's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tomas Vennerlund read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 32nd minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Mauro Milano kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Tomas Vennerlund. That made the score 1-0 in the 33 minute of play. Vicco Oolo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Roland Czerniejewski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 38th minute the ball was on its way in behind Veth Crystals's goalkeeper Roland Czerniejewski, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Mauro Milano struck a weak shot in the 39th minute. Tomas Vennerlund didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Veth Crystals. Huang Hui hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. Roland Czerniejewski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vicco Oolo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Vicco Oolo made the kick off in the second half. Ulysses Baldwin charged in rather forcefully in the 52nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. After a rather tough play, The Northmen Army's Tommy Treager got a free kick in the 60th minute. The Northmen Army's Tomas Vennerlund played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Olgierd Ziemniak in the 65th minute of play. Nicko Kličko in the 75thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Roland Czerniejewski, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 80th minute Teofil Zagrobelny shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tomas Vennerlund saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Olgierd Ziemniak recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 85th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Olgierd Ziemniak had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mauro Milano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in The Northmen Army's zone, Olgierd Ziemniak stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tomas Vennerlund came out of the goal and Olgierd Ziemniak tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 95th minute, Olgierd Ziemniak managed to get in a good position for a shot. Veth Crystals's supporters rose to their feet, but Olgierd Ziemniak was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tomas Vennerlund breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. There was no doubt that Veth Crystals were the better team. Veth Crystals's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
