The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. William Rigg scored 0-1 in the 10th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Erol Suer, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 15 minutes into the match, Nihat Ilıca notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of The Valar's Tristan Falco. Tristan Falco was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Tristan Falco came out of the goal in the 22nd minute to try and stop a shot by Time to Kill's Nihat Ilıca. But to his dismay, Nihat Ilıca quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. It was a well-played corner which Song Yu Chen managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nihat Ilıca in the 36th minute of play forced The Valar's goalkeeper Tristan Falco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Aulë Vala kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. Doğuhan Neyzen charged in rather forcefully in the 43rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Doğuhan Neyzen the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Nihat Ilıca to make the kick off. Tristan Falco showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nihat Ilıca, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. In the 81st minute Yalçın Çolakoğlu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tristan Falco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 82nd minute of the match Time to Kill got a corner. The Valar's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Yalçın Çolakoğlu ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Faruk Nafiz Eryilmaz almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but The Valar's Tristan Falco did a great save. After 92 played minutes Time to Kill got a freekick which was hit by Yalçın Çolakoğlu. Both players had fought hard during the second half to keep the score at 2-2. The tie meant more entertainment for the crowd as the match moved into extra-time.

After resting during the break, the players from both teams went out on the field looking very concentrated. It was now first half of the overtime. Alfred Hajto made the kick off and play began. In the 101st minute Alfred Hajto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Erol Suer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 101 minutes into the game, Alfred Hajto cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-3. Erol Suer was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.
