Alvinegro de Tupã's Augusto Alcântara played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Duško Turnšek in the 5th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 6th minute, Istok Šabotić managed to get in a good position for a shot. HIT Gorica's supporters rose to their feet, but Istok Šabotić was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Augusto Alcântara breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Alvinegro de Tupã's Christian Cruz in 12 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Lan Šorli guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. After a defensive mix-up in HIT Gorica's zone, Simão Machado stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lan Šorli came out of the goal and Simão Machado tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Simão Machado struck a weak shot in the 17th minute. Lan Šorli didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Alvinegro de Tupã. In the 21st match minute, HIT Gorica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Demeter Denac to maneuver through the defense. In the 22nd minute of the match Tostão Branco shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Lan Šorli showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The audience was convinced that Istok Šabotić's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Augusto Alcântara was relentless in the 26th minute of the game. Augusto Alcântara came out of the goal in the 28th minute to try and stop a shot by HIT Gorica's Duško Turnšek. But to his dismay, Duško Turnšek quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Simão Machado received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Lan Šorli tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Augusto Alcântara showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Duško Turnšek in the 35th minute of the match. 37 minutes into the game, Istok Šabotić cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Augusto Alcântara was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Duško Turnšek took the ball and in the 41 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Augusto Alcântara. Augusto Alcântara dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Duško Turnšek made the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute, Istok Šabotić ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Augusto Alcântara was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. 57 minutes into the game, HIT Gorica's Duško Turnšek nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. The referee ignored Alvinegro de Tupã's protests and gave Olavo Domingues a yellow card for diving instead. HIT Gorica's Goražd Djordjević was substituted for Demeter Denac. Olavo Domingues hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. Duško Turnšek sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 80th minute, Istok Šabotić made a precise shot to the right of Augusto Alcântara. Alvinegro de Tupã's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 8-0. After 84 minutes of play, HIT Gorica's Istok Šabotić made it 9-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Augusto Alcântara was left in no man's land by his defense there! 90 minutes into the match, Alvinegro de Tupã's goal looked a bit too open when Gaber Furlan came free, but Augusto Alcântara reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 94 minutes into the game, HIT Gorica's Duško Turnšek nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Augusto Alcântara made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 10-0. There was no doubt that HIT Gorica were the better team. HIT Gorica's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
