In the 32nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Zagłębie Dąbrowskie's goalkeeper Marian Chilavert, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 33 minutes Zagłębie Dąbrowskie's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Alexander Isaak who took care of the corner kick. The corner led Bociany SA's Boban Fett to fire away a dangerous shot which Marian Chilavert despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Laureano Guipuzkoa lost his temper 37 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. Marian Chilavert had in the 39thth minute some difficulties stopping Alexander Isaak's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. The shot missed the goal on the right side and Adolf Hitman ran dejectedly back to his position. Zagłębie Dąbrowskie's Ömür Seyfeddin was substituted for Karol Biskupiak.
