The referee ignored ASF BAIA MARE -MM-'s protests and gave Ion Cucerzan a yellow card for diving instead. Ion Cucerzan hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. Vasile Neața made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tsubasa Ozora in the 37th minute. 38 minutes had been played when some careless play by ASF BAIA MARE -MM-'s defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Miro Titos was slow to take the kick. During this time VILLARREAL UNITED's players had a chance to rest. After 39 minutes, Mugurel Negru mouthed his way into the referee's book. The supporters of ASF BAIA MARE -MM- booed when VILLARREAL UNITED was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ferran Garzon didn't get a good kick on the ball. With an all-out effort, ASF BAIA MARE -MM-'s Orti Ecija threw himself towards the right post 84 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Cătălin Octavian, which otherwise would have been placed in the net.
