Fernando Pras made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tsubasa Ozora in the 5th minute of play. 17 minutes into the match, VILLARREAL UNITED's goal looked a bit too open when Nelsinho Marinho came free, but Orti Ecija reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match had gone on for 19 minutes, Ronaldo Pirani took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Orti Ecija to make any attempt to save it. When the match clock showed 23 minutes, the score became 1-1 when Tsubasa Ozora sped through Palestra do Interior's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Fernando Pras. Orti Ecija took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ronaldo Pirani, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to VILLARREAL UNITED getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Iyan Flores hit a great ball. Fernando Pras came out of the goal in the 36th minute to try and stop a shot by VILLARREAL UNITED's Inautzi Ramiréz. But to his dismay, Inautzi Ramiréz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. After 38 played minutes Palestra do Interior got a freekick which was hit by Ronaldo Pirani. A collision led to VILLARREAL UNITED getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Tsubasa Ozora hit a great ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Ronaldo Pirani fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Orti Ecija having to interfere. In the 56th minute, Cresitobalo Molina hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jonathan Varela charged in rather forcefully in the 57th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jonathan Varela the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to VILLARREAL UNITED getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. The supporters of VILLARREAL UNITED booed when Palestra do Interior was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sérgio Cruz didn't get a good kick on the ball. VILLARREAL UNITED made a substitution. Cresitobalo Cortes replaced Delmar Cuervas. VILLARREAL UNITED's Elvis Figueres was substituted for Inautzi Ramiréz. Palestra do Interior made a substitution. Anísio Carneiro replaced Perivaldo Gerber. Palestra do Interior's David Vale was substituted for Ronaldo Pirani. VILLARREAL UNITED's Orti Ecija played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by David Vale in the 68th minute of play. In the 73rd minute Tsubasa Ozora shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fernando Pras saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by David Vale in the 79th minute of play forced VILLARREAL UNITED's goalkeeper Orti Ecija to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers David Vale in the 84th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Orti Ecija saved VILLARREAL UNITED from getting behind. Fernando Pras made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Elvis Figueres in the 87th minute of play. Doni Pimenta hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. VILLARREAL UNITED's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
