Vasile Neața dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Ivan Pădure hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. Vasile Neața showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alex Răduț, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. Vasile Neața took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Denis Negruț, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 25 minutes into the match, ASF BAIA MARE -MM-'s goal looked a bit too open when Alex Răduț came free, but Vasile Neața reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alex Răduț in the 29th minute of play forced ASF BAIA MARE -MM-'s goalkeeper Vasile Neața to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 31st minute, Ivan Pădure hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 35 minutes, Irinel Peptan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Unicorns ™'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Irinel Peptan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 37 minutes into the match, ASF BAIA MARE -MM-'s goal looked a bit too open when Denis Negruț came free, but Vasile Neața reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ivan Pădure could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 40th minute of the match, but Corneliu Vulpăşin made a huge save. Ivan Pădure blasted a shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Corneliu Vulpăşin having to make a save.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Alex Răduț to strike the kick off in the second half. Corneliu Vulpăşin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Victor Cucerzan, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. In the 52nd minute ASF BAIA MARE -MM- were awarded a corner. Gigi Şchiopu went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on ASF BAIA MARE -MM-'s corner Gigi Şchiopu fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Corneliu Vulpăşin quite easily take care of the ball. 57 minutes into the match, ASF BAIA MARE -MM-'s goalkeeper Vasile Neața had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alex Răduț. A collision led to ASF BAIA MARE -MM- getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Victor Cucerzan hit a great ball. Iulian Buciu received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Vasile Neața came out and tried to block the shot, but Iulian Buciu slotted it home off the left post making it 1-2 in the 61st minute. In the 67th minute Ivan Pădure shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Corneliu Vulpăşin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mugurel Negru hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. Iulian Buciu got in the 68th minute the ball and tried a long shot which scored to the left of Vasile Neața and thus it was 1-3. 77 minutes into the match, Alex Răduț notched a goal, 1-4, to the right of ASF BAIA MARE -MM-'s Vasile Neața. Vasile Neața was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Ivan Pădure had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The audience was convinced that Victor Cucerzan's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Corneliu Vulpăşin was relentless in the 89th minute of the game. In the 91st minute, Lucrețiu Arotăriței hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
